Associate Creative Manager

Job Duties:

  • Evaluate and screen project requests/creative briefs for thoroughness and clarity before delegating to the team. Must be able to work with project requesters in the development of proper briefs.
  • Support the Creative Manager in the supervision, development, and approval of the team s projects.
  • Meet regularly with project stakeholders (Brand, Channel, Product Management, and Web Development teams) to understand business/project needs and keep aligned with the larger Marketing calendar.
  • Be able and willing to give and receive constructive criticism as well as identify opportunities for mentorship and growth.
  • Maintain a strong pulse on new and upcoming design, software, marketing, and materials trends.
  • Support with the sourcing of external printing, photography, and display needs with outside vendors.
  • Utilize the department s equipment and resources efficiently and effectively.
  • Regularly audit projects and processes to identify opportunities for creative workflow improvements.

Language Skills

  • Excellent English reading, writing, and verbal skills.
  • Spanish reading, writing, and verbal skills are a plus.

Reasoning Abilities

  • Must be able to evaluate and interpret stakeholder needs/wants for a project and justify creative/visual decision making to produce the best overall solutions for the brand.

Physical Demands

  • This position is required to sit for intermittent periods of time with occasionally being required to stand, walk, bend, stoop, or reach.
  • May require working extended and/or irregular hours.
  • May require lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling equipment or boxes up to 75 lbs.
  • May require exposure to work environments with to loud noises, debris, hazardous materials/chemicals, etc.
  • May require assembling and using power tools, accessories, and related materials.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
