La Mirada, California, we have an immediate opening for a Project Field Supervisor.
The Project Field Supervisor for the Commercial Solutions Division is responsible for oversight of the service, assembly and installation of air purification solutions at customer locations, including supervision of field technicians and other Projects staff. The Field Supervisor works unsupervised or with minimal supervision.
This position requires project management experience as well as sound technical, reporting and computer skills.
This person will need to have the ability to supervise a small crew and provide start/finish reports from customer location on a daily basis.

A high-level of accuracy and professionalism are required, as the position involves working with customers/vendors on behalf of the company
The ability to work effectively under pressure and to efficiently deal with multiple priorities simultaneously will be keys to success in this position
Strong Microsoft Office and technology skills
Schedules field technicians and works with project team to increase efficiency of field work
Performs and supervises installation and maintenance of project(s)
Determines and implements the exact needs of the customer based on product/project specifications; effectively realizes issues of cost, time, quality, and above all, client satisfaction
Successfully plans, outlines objectives and directs activities of the project(s) from start to completion date while adhering specifically to scope, time and budget constraints
Purchases materials; prevents defects and ensures quality
Tracks, forecasts, and reports progress, job costs and risk assessments
Effectively resolves a variety of customer service and technical matters; Troubleshoots and performs repairs
Initiate projects according to procedures established in the commercial department operating procedures. It is critical that the Field Supervisor understands that his/her role generates revenue by primarily saving cost and time
Supervision of field assessments and installations and progress reporting to the Project Manager and Project Team on job site conditions and installations. Perform acceptance criteria confirmed by auditing completed work to ensure technology is installed correctly. Documentation of any findings of the audit to be reported during post installation debriefings
Provide constant communications and coordination with the Project manager, subcontractors, external and internal stakeholders. Maintain project schedule in accordance with the project's plan and meet all established milestones
Confirm all progress according to policies and procedures of the Commercial Projects Division. Continuous improvement in the installation process by improving the checklist against each project completed and providing feedback to the Project
Serve as Company representative at customer location. Ensure that all field technicians are presentable and adhering to company Dress code standards
Responsible for the overseeing and supervising the installation of air cleaning technology and the repair & maintenance of air cleaning technology at customer locations
Responsible for job planning and preparation of tools and equipment includes maintenance of tools, equipment, spare parts availability and paperwork documentation
Prepare complete job documentation including site assessments, daily status reporting, assessment reports, post installation reporting, lessons learned, opportunity for improvement, serial number and other relevant information
Demonstrated ability to safely operate required equipment associated with installation
Ensure compliance with all OSHA regulations and company policies
Be prepared to work extra hours and odd hours dependent on customer site accessibility
Key field contact for companyFilterview development and analysis
Assists with technical support; technical data, development and maintenance of user manuals, FAQs, technical support phone calls and warehouse tasks. Covers technical support desk during absence of Technical Support team
Recommends improvements of company products
Involves travel and field work
Special projects as assigned
Must be able to communicate in English both verbally and in written form
Possess at least five (5+) years of experience working on commercial heating/air conditioning/refrigeration systems and controls.
Understand local electrical and H.V.A.C. codes and have a mechanical aptitude.
Able to self-diagnose commercial HVAC equipment.
Possess documentation skills, conceptual skills, attention to detail, and dependability.
5+ experience supervising and scheduling field staff
Possess knowledge of hazard and safety practices common to trade.
Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience
Superior knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
IRB training and certification desired
Project Management experience preferred
Clean Driving Record meeting insurability standards
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen

The hours are flexible around jobsite availability. We work at schools and have to work around their schedule. No remote work..field supervisor should be on site and/or working remotely from the jobsite.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
