DescriptionThe Customer Engineer ensures that Amada software and machines are correctly installed and ready to be used by the customer.
If issues arise with the software or machines, the Customer Engineer identifies, troubleshoots and resolves the issue on site or remotely.
This job requires travel within CA, NV,AZ, OR, WA, and UT.
Essential Functions:
Install Amada software and ensure correct connect to Amada machinesTrain customer and staff on proper use of Amada software and machinesTroubleshoot issues related to software and machine connections remotely or onsiteOccasionally assist the in-house software support and call centerKNOWLEDGE:
4-year degree in Electronics or related field, or minimum of 2-year degree with related work experience preferredHigh level of PC, Active Directory, and Domain ControlsExperience in networking computers to machines and manufacturing equipmentCompTIA, Network +, Cisco Network Certified, or Microsoft CertifiedSKILLS:
Software installation, training and troubleshootingStrong customer service and communication skillsWorking knowledge of computers, Windows OS and Networks.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings.
Bilingual in Spanish (preferred)TRAVEL:
Routine travel with overnight stays.
MENTAL ABILITIES:
