Manager, HR Business Partner

Description Georgia-Pacific has an opening for a Manager, HR Business Partner - Employment and Labor to work in partnership with managers and employees at our box facilities in California and Washington. This position will have the opportunity as part of the Corrugated division to advance continuous improvement of HR processes, compliance initiatives and drive business results. We want to transform the delivery of our HR services to effectively meet both the current and future needs of our customers while delivering gains to the business. The successful candidate will have flexibility in where he/ she resides within California with preference for locations within reasonable proximity to the plants supported and/ or proximity to a major airport. What You Will Do In Your RoleManager, HRBP- Employment and Labor :
Provide data-driven insights for decision making and compliance initiatives; recommend revision or creation of new strategies Partner with hiring managers to accurately identify CA specific exemption classifications for open positions Build Supervisor capability by facilitating training on CA wage and hour, aid in issue resolution/concerns as they come up Manage AAP training and partnership on good faith efforts and goals Conduct HR audits and implement findings strategies Partner with the Koch Compliance Team to build processes, manage execution of projects and implement strategy Assess risk related to employment matters and coach leaders in a manner consistent with the company's risk philosophy Lead compliance with all labor laws and within union agreements Steward of the MBM Culture:
Possess a deep personal knowledge of Market-Based Management (MBM) and be able to not only understand but also effectively apply concepts to daily work and coach others regarding the application of MBM Develop a point of view on talent and be able to influence change Apply MBM Framework to HR problems, practices and systemsEnsure effective utilization of performance management and development processes (RR, coaching, performance reviews, career development, etc.) What you will bring:
